Goswami began life as Radha-ramana, the pious young son of a family of bhaktas. Sent to the Gaudiya Math at eleven, he served with joy—washing clothes, sweeping halls, and singing kirtan with a voice that seemed made for devotion. His Hari-katha drew crowds even in places where people didn’t understand his language. After the passing of his Guru, he embraced a life of preaching and received sannyas by divine call. For thirty-two years he traveled tirelessly across India—and even the West—spreading pure bhakti.
