Sri Anandi Bai

Anandi Bai, born into a Kashmiri Brahmin family in 19th-century Amritsar, renounced worldly life after a profound turn of destiny and dedicated herself entirely to Shri Anand-Vallabh ji. In Vrindavan, she established her temple - the Anand Vallabh Temple - and served Radha and Krishna in vatsalya bhav—as her own son and daughter-in-law—offering a devotion so intimate that even the smallest details of seva became a loving dialogue between the devotee and the Divine.
