Sri Swami Bon Maharaj
Sri Swami Bon Maharaj (also known as Bhakti Hridaya Bon) was a great saint of the Gaudiya Vaishnava sampradaya. He played a pivotal role in spreading the Gaudiya Vaishnava philosophy internationally, meeting with the King of England and preaching at esteemed universities like Oxford and Cambridge to plant the seed of bhakti. Still, his biggest legacy is in India, where he founded schools and temple-ashrams and gathered thousands of followers, including entire Bengali villages that consider him their guru. Wherever he went, he chanted the mahamantra, even to his last breath.
