Sri Subadra Dasi

Subhadra Dasi was a great devotee of Krishna since she was a little girl, living much like young Mirabai. She was blessed with a husband who was also a humble bhakta. There was just one trouble: she couldn’t have any children. Her husband had no complaint, but Subhadra Dasi cried to her dear Krishna night and day. Finally, he answered, again and again - first coming as a little boy and then as little murtis that wreaked havoc as young boys are wont to do, keeping her fully occupied until it was time for her to enter the eternal lila.
