Siyaram Baba was a great Hanuman bhakta with an intensity that needed no performance. On the banks of the Narmada River, in the modest refuge of Bhatyan Ashram, he lived stripped down to the essentials: cloth, breath, and faith. Heat, cold, monsoon winds - it passed over him like weather over stone. He didn’t resist it. He simply remained. He carried the Ramcharitmanas not as a text, but as a rhythm. The verses moved through him constantly, as if silence itself needed translation. Money had no real grip on him. He accepted only ₹10 from those who came—no more, no less. A symbolic gesture, almost playful.
