Sri Siddheshwar Maharaj
Sri Siddheshwar Maharaj was an 18th-century saint whose life bridged deep spiritual discipline and historical influence. Under the guidance of his Guru, he pursued intense Tapas, including years of meditation in the waters of the Krishna River at Kole Narasimhpur, strengthening his direct Self-realization. He later became the spiritual guide of the Karveer royal lineage connected to Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj, reflecting the important relationship between saints and statecraft in early modern India.
