Sri Ramalinga Swami

Ramalinga Swamigal—reverently known as Vallalar—was a mystic, poet, and embodiment of compassion who taught that the Divine resides in all beings, and that true worship is found in feeding the hungry, loving the forgotten, and living in oneness with all life. He rejected caste, ritual, and idol worship, instead lighting a single lamp that symbolized Arut Perum Jyothi—the Supreme Grace Light. Before disappearing into divine light in 1874, he left behind the teachings of the Seven Paths of Grace and a mantra that still echoes through hearts seeking transformation: Arut Perum Jyothi, Arut Perum Jyothi, Thani Perum Karunai, Arut Perum Jyothi.
