Sri Sri 1008 Paramahamsa Sri Ramchandra Ji Maharaj (1873–1931), affectionately called Lalaji Maharaj, was a bridge between traditions—uniting the wisdom of Naqshbandi Sufism with the essence of Raja Yoga. The first Hindu disciple in this Sufi lineage, he pioneered Sahaj Marg (Heartfulness), making deep spiritual realization accessible to householders without renunciation. His path centered on inner purity, selfless service, constant remembrance, and the transformative power of Pranahuti (spiritual transmission). His words still echo: "Khuda mazhab mein nahin, muhabbat mein hai" — God is not in religions, He is in love.
