Sri Ragam Rama Picchayya Garu was born into a lineage of Rama devotees. His grandfather attained liberation through Rama Koti — writing the name of Ram 10 million times. His father established Ramanama Kshetram, where the name of Rama has been continuously chanted without pause since 1942, a tradition Sri Ragam Rama Picchayya Garu continued. The grace of Ram was ever with him, and miracles followed him wherever he went. He took samadhi on 27 July 2020 and continues to inspire his followers.
