Sri Khapti Baba Maharaj

Khapti Baba was one of Maharashtra’s most unusual saints—a master who taught everything he had to give in thirty fixed sentences and the striking example of his own life and presence. To outsiders he often appeared eccentric, even mad—hence the name Khapti, “the crazy one.” But devotees saw the method in the madness. Through abrupt questions, strange instructions, and unpredictable compassion, he shook people out of ordinary thinking, forcing them to confront their own minds. His path was simple: break ego, see clearly, and remember God.
