Sri Balappa Maharaj

Sri Balappa Maharaj was a Brahmin landlord, money lender and jeweler, once the richest person in his area. At the age of 30, he turned to spiritual life and left for Gangapur in search of his guru. He was directed in a dream to go to Akkalkot, but initially he did not go. Two months later, he again got the command, and finally he went. There he met Akkalkot Maharaj, and his life was changed forever.
