Shri Mahant Ganesh Giriji Maharaj

Shri Mahant Ganesh Giriji Maharaj was born in Cuttack. Fever took him to the borderlands, where Lahiri Mahasaya showed up from another dimension and gave him Kriya Yoga. After the war, at fifty-five, he dropped everything and became a Nāga sadhu. Swami Sivananda renamed him Swami Ganesh Anand. For a decade he ran logistics for Anandamayi Ma’s ashram, then wandered through Himalayan caves.
