Sri Mai Desan Ji

Mai Desan Ji was an ardent devotee of Guru Gobind Singh Ji. After the passing of her husband, she undertook deep austerity to seek the darshan of her guru. Moved by her immense devotion, Guru Gobind Singh Ji, along with Mata Sundar Kaur Ji and Mata Sahib Kaur Ji, came to her home at Burj Sahib and stayed there for nine days. Before leaving, they gifted her with many sacred relics. These relics, along with the room in which Guru Sahib stayed, are preserved to this day in their original form by her descendants.
