Baba Baldev Das Ji showed a natural pull toward spirituality from childhood. At nineteen, he moved to Malsisar, where he began serving in temples with deep devotion. Later, in 1911, he made Mandrella his base, guiding people with his wisdom and simple, saintly life. Along the way, devoted followers joined him—first Jagle Ki Maa, and later Maa Banasa, a woman from a royal family who renounced her comforts to walk the spiritual path with him. In 1938, they traveled to Jasidih, where he immersed himself in tapasya and left behind a sacred space that still draws devotees.
