Sri Mayamma

On the sacred shores of Kanyakumari, where three oceans meet, lived a radiant soul known as Devi Mayamma. Sages revered her as Mother of the World. No one knows when she first appeared by the sea. She wandered barefoot, swam among the waves, and was often seen laughing as she returned from the ocean, always trailed by a pack of dogs she lovingly fed. Amma could light fires with wet seaweed and scraps, and she shared food with people and animals alike. She never claimed greatness, yet her gaze radiated compassion that healed and uplifted countless devotees.
